The hotel is a great base for exploring the area, conveniently located next to the highway entrance and exit. The free breakfast was a nice perk, and there are at least three other restaurants nearby. The staff was extremely friendly, top-notch, and quick to respond to requests.

Every time in Scottsburg we stay in this hotel. The property is quiet with very friendly personnel during check-out. The rooms are top-notch and fully-equipped here with bathroom, double beds and refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast is served in the lobby! The location of the hotel is comfy, close to southern Indiana, hot tube and at least three other restaurants.

Exceptionally comfortable and incredibly beautiful place, I liked to be here.

The room with wonderful amenities.

The location was convenient, in a nice area. Our room was a good size with comfortable beds. Excellent service from most of the staff.

The hotel was easy to find and laid out well. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast selection was generous.

I found the comforter to be rather heavy. The room temperature was very good, but, as with most hotels, the cycling of the air conditioner was loud enough to wake us up on several occasions.

Called hotel to make reservation and was told only suites were available. With our Hilton Honors status room would be $141.00 plus tax. Logged onto Bookings.com and a room is available for $129. Plus tax. I booked the room through Bookings.com. Once we arrived our room (#406) smelled like mildew (shower curtain and shower) and cigarette smoke. I switched out curtain and sprayed bleach in shower and sink. Called back the front desk and requested another room. After searching, front desk offered us a suite. Very nice. We do appreciate the upgrade. It just took too much effort getting to a comfortable room at a reasonable rate. We like Hampton and have always experienced quality properties at a good rate. This experience, other than the upgrade and breakfast, was less enjoyable compared to other Hampton stays. Thanks for asking. It shows that you care. Sincerely, Jim McGuire

Restaurants around area leave a lot to be desired

This place is great and comfortable. The breakfast is warm and includes fruits, meat, and hot oatmeal. The room is neat and well-kept. I had a very pleasant stay during my almost two-week vacation. 🌟

Having access to a kitchen in a hotel.

I expected an oven along with the stovetop and that was not part of the room. Also we got the pull out couch for the 3rd couple we were traveling with and it was extremely uncomfortable. I'm glad we had a blow up mattress with us just in case.

Not bad experience but a suggestion. We entered at a side door with large suitcases. There was no walkway designated between cars. With cars parked close together it made for a difficult journey to the entry, without damaging the cars parked on either side.

Tasty complimentary breakfast included hot oatmeal, meats, and fruits. The staff was super helpful overall! 🍳

The staff was so friendly thank you so much there was four different rooms the family stayed in due to a death in the family.
